• The loan will be provided without any collateral and have a repayment period of three to seven years.
• Students can also avail themselves of moratorium on repayment for the duration of the course and for an additional six months.
• The loan was formally launched by Higher Education Minister R. Bindu in the presence of Canara Bank general manager and State Level Bankers’ Committee convener S. Premkumar.

• The certificate of training (Joint Certification) will be given to successful candidates by the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCVET & SD) under the control of the Technical Education, Training & Skill Development (TET & SD) Department along with Flipkart.
• Flipkart launched the Supply Chain Operations Academy (SCOA) in 2021 to impart skill training.
• The Flipkart programme aims to certify over 4,000 individuals in the first year by offering 15 days of online training and 45 days of on-the-job training at its supply chain facilities.
• This is Flipkart’s commitment to providing relevant industry training and knowledge to help create a pool of skilled supply chain operations talent in the country.
• The programme has been designed to impart knowledge on various facets of the e-commerce supply chain, including the roles within the supply chain, soft skills,safety and compliance know-how.

• Government-owned SJVN won a contract worth Rs 195 crore for setting up of its maiden wind-solar hybrid project with 30 MW generation capacity.
• Company has bagged its first-ever 30 MW wind-solar hybrid project through a tender floated by Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI).
• The project was bagged through a tariff-based competitive bidding process for providing electricity at the rate of Rs 2.54 per unit on the build, own and operate basis, adding that the tentative cost for construction and development of the project is Rs 195 crore.
• The project is expected to generate 79 MUs (Million Units) in the first year, and on a cumulative basis, approximately 1,860 MUs would be generated over a period of 25 years.
• SJVN will sign a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SECI for 25 years.

• Brand – Somdana (District/State: Thane, Maharashtra,Product: Millet Flour)
• Brand – Kashmiri Mantra (District/State: Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir Product: Red Chilli Powder).
• Out of the 7 ODOP Brands, the Brand Dilli Bakes was launched in October 2021 in New Delhi followed by the Brand Makhana King launched in January 2022 in Patna.
• The remaining 5 Brands were also launched in January 2022 in New Delhi.
