• Prizes will also be given to about 50,000 school students who had participated in speech, essay and poetry writing competitions on the “2047 – Viksit Bharat ki Railway” theme.

Amrit Bharat Station Scheme:

• Amrit Bharat Station Scheme is an ongoing Indian Railways mission launched in February 2023 by Ministry of Railways to redevelop 1275 stations nationwide.
• It involves preparation of Master Plans and their implementation in phases to improve the amenities at the stations like improvement of station access, circulating areas, waiting halls, toilets, lift/escalators as necessary, cleanliness, free Wi-Fi, kiosks for local products through schemes like ‘One Station One Product’, better passenger information systems, Executive Lounges, nominated spaces for business meetings, landscaping etc. keeping in view the necessity at each station.
• The scheme also envisages improvement of building, integrating the station with both sides of the city, multimodal integration, amenities for Divyangjans, sustainable and environment friendly solutions, provision of ballastless tracks, ‘Roof Plazas’ as per necessity, phasing and feasibility and creation of city centres at the station in the long term.
• The scheme envisages high-level platforms (760-840 millimetres) at all categories of stations.
• According to the scheme, the length of the platforms shall generally be 600 metres.

• It aims to cater to the healthcare requirements of students residing in Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across tribal areas in the country.
• This project is set to benefit over 20,000 tribal students.
• This project aims to benefit students aged 10-18 years enrolled in classes 6th to 12th in 55 identified EMRS across 14 States of the country.
• The screenings will focus on identifying issues such as Anaemia, Haemoglobinopathies, Malnutrition, and Tuberculosis.
• Shri Arjun Munda and Shri Sarbananda Sonowal also unveiled an e-book and released a brochure outlining their collaborative health initiatives.

• It plays a crucial role in providing quality education to Scheduled Tribes (ST) children in remote areas, enabling them to access higher education and employment opportunities across various sectors.
