- The sale of HDFC Credila, the education loan arm of the Housing Development and Finance Corporation (HDFC), comes ahead of the completion of HDFC’s merger with HDFC Bank.
- In April, the RBI had asked HDFC to reduce its stake in Credila to under 10 per cent over the next two years.
- The stake will be acquired by Kopvoorn B.V, Moss Investments Ltd, Defati Investments Holding B.V and Infinity Partners. While Kopvoorn B.V. is part of the BPEA EQT group,

- Mankad, who retired as chief secretary of the state, had been chairman of the board of directors of GIFT City since 2007.
- Besides GIFT City, Adhia has also been appointed Director and Chairman of the boards of State public sector undertakings Gujarat Alkalies& Chemicals Ltd (GACL) and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd (GMDC) with immediate effect.The appointments are as non-executive chairman.
- Adhia, a Gujarat cadre IAS officer of the 1981 batch, currently serves as an advisor to the Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel.
- He was part of the panel appointed by the Gujarat government to recommend measures for the post-Covid economic revival of the State.
- Adhia will take over as chairman of GMDC and GACL from chief secretary Raj Kumar.
At present Adhia is a non-executive Chairman of Bank of Baroda, and also the Chancellor of Central University of Gujarat. - He serves as a member of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.

- Adhia will take over as chairman of GMDC and GACL from chief secretary Raj Kumar.
- In another order, retired IAS officer and former ACS of the roads and buildings department S SRathore has been appointed chairman of DREAM City (Diamond Research and Mercantile City) in Surat. Rathore is also advisor to the CM.
- Mankad, who retired as chief secretary of the state, had been chairman of the board of directors of GIFT City since 2007.

- Currently, HAL uses GE 404 engines for the 83 light combat aircraft it is manufacturing for the IAF.
- GE Aerospace’s F404 and F414 have been part of the development and production of LCA Mk1 and LCA Mk2 programmes.
- In total, 75 F404 engines have been delivered and another 99 are on order for LCA Mk1A.
