- Telangana stood first in the implementation of the Shyama Prasad Mukherji Rurban Mission (SPMRM) that was launched four years ago to stimulate local economic development, enhance basic services and create well planned clusters.
- Sangareddy and Kamareddy districts stood in the first two positions among the 300 clusters across the country where the programme was being implemented.
- Tamil Nadu and Gujarat took the second and third positions respectively.
- In Telangana, in as many as 17 clusters (12 non-tribal and five tribal), the programme was being implemented at an estimated cost of ₹1,885.12 crore.

- They can also withdraw up to Rs 0.75 lakh at ATMs abroad and perform purchases globally worth up to INR 3 lakh at POS and international online merchants.

- The world’s first dual-mode vehicle that equally runs on railway track and road, has started commercial operations in Japan’s Tokushima Prefecture.
- The vehicle has a capacity of carrying up to 21 passengers and its road and railway modes can be switched in only about 15 seconds, reports said.
- The mini bus-shaped vehicle runs on normal rubber tires on the road.
- But it turned itself into a train when steel wheels descend from its underbelly onto the track.
- It runs at a speed of 60 kph on the rail track while it can go as fast as 100kph on main roads.
- At the launching ceremony, Tokushima Gov. Kamon Iizumi said he wants to “send dreams and hopes to the world” with this innovation.

- Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched the Jagananna Palavelluva- AP Amul project in Krishna district virtually.
- The Andhra Pradesh government’s latest initiative was floated to financially boost the dairy farmers of 264 villages in the Krishna district.
- As per the state government, Amul started working with the state in November 2020. Later it has spread to more than 500 villages in the state.
- So far, 1.67 crore litres of buffalo milk and 73,96,857 litres of cow milk have been collected from 1,79,248 farmers of 1,906 villages through 1,093 RBKs.
- An average of 75,000 litres of milk is collected daily from 30,640 farmers.
- The Andhra Pradesh Amul project is already successfully in YSR Kadapa, Prakasam, Chittoor, Guntur, and West Godavari districts.
