  • Adani Gas has been chosen as the PNG supply partner to create a nature-friendly zone for Bulk Drugs Park, while THDC has been selected as the solar power partner.
  • The state Government has organized an Investors Connect webinar and signed an MOU with around 1,500 stakeholders to make the state a hub for the medical sector with the latest technology.
  • CONCOR is the logistics partner, playing a crucial role in distributing medicines and medical devices nationally and internationally.
  • STPI will support Industry 4.0 to establish global recognition for the medical units in the park.

Lalitpur Bulk Drug Park (Uttar Pradesh):

  • The park would accommodate 60-70 production units that would work to manufacture 452 medicines and 23 starting materials.
  • It will attract the investment of 1 Lakh crore.
  • The budget of this park includes 460.6 crore for Infrastructure, Rs 20 Crore for Liquid Discharge Systems, Rs 144.2 crore for land aquisitionand Rs 10 crore for administrative expenses.

  • A total of 15 tourist destinations are being taken up in the North East for development under the revamped Swadesh Darshan Scheme 2.0 with an objective to develop destinations with a tourist and destination-centric approach.
  • Ministry of Tourism under the PRASHAD Scheme has sanctioned a total of 8 projects for an amount of Rs.256.45 Crore for the integrated development of identified pilgrimage destinations in the North East States.
  • The Ministry of Tourism has also sanctioned the development of 22 viewpoints at the cost of Rs.44.44 Crore to provide world-class infrastructure and related services for the highway network.

  • To fulfil this objective, Traditional Medicine Global Strategy 2025-34 will be prepared by WHO with the support of the Ministry of Ayush.
  • An International Herbal Pharmacopoeia of herbs found in South-East Asia will be developed by the Ministry in collaboration with WHO.
  • A total of two ‘Project Collaboration Agreements’ have already been signed by the Ministry of Ayush with WHO.
  • The first contract was signed in 2016 to take Traditional Medical systems like Yoga, Ayurveda, Unani, and Panchakarma to the global level and the second contract was signed in 2017 to strengthen the system of Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha medical systems.
  • Ayush Secretary, Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha also present in this event.
