  • A right-handed batsman, Dattajirao played 11 Test matches in his cricketing career and captained the Indian team when it toured England in 1959.
  • He scored 350 runs in his Test career that ended in 1961 when he played his last match against Pakistan. He was known to be a good fielder.
  • He captained the Baroda squad that won the Ranji trophy in 1957-58 which he had described as one of his best memories.

  • CEPL, which is engaged in the business of generation and sale of power using coal, owns and operates an imported coal based thermal power plant at Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu.
  • This company is currently undergoing corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP) under Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) 2016.


  • CCI has also approved the acquisition of 100 per cent shareholding of Tianish Laboratories Private Limited by Matrix Pharma Private Ltd.
