  • These upgraded roads will incorporate climate- and disaster-resilient aspects, innovative road safety elements, and facilities catering to the needs of the elderly, women, children, and individuals with disabilities.
  • Furthermore, ADB plans to enhance the Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited (MPRDC) in terms of climate change adaptation and mitigation, disaster resilience, and road safety in road network planning and management.
  • The initiative will aid in formulating strategies and plans to utilize green technology in road construction and establish charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
  • Additionally, the project intends to support MPRDC in creating a strategy for gender equality and social inclusion and to institute an internship program to encourage female students to work in the road sector.

  • The applications were invited from eligible service providers experienced in digital forensic services for acquisition, extraction and analysis of digital evidence from mobile, computers, and tablets, among others, on an ongoing basis.
  • As per the notice, the entities will be required to provide onsite and offsite assistance to the search team and onsite data acquisition during search and seizure operations.
  • In addition, they will have to undertake forensic acquisition or imaging of different types of digital devices, such as laptops, mobile phones, tablets, hard drives, USB drives, CDs/DVDs, servers etc.
  • Further, they will be required to do onsite acquisition of cloud data from cloud apps like Gmail, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, Telegram, WhatsApp and any other app or database as decided by the search party.

  • Two sides will also practice casualty management and evacuation drills. Both the contingents will discuss logistics management and practice survival training at the Battalion level.
  • The training will focus primarily on high degree of physical fitness, conduct of drills at tactical level and sharing of best practices with each other. The Exercise will culminate with a 48-hour long validation exercise in a semi-urban area.
  • “Exercise HARIMAU SHAKTI” is aimed to enhance the level of defence co-operation between Indian Army and the Malaysian Army, which will also foster the bilateral relations between the two nations.

  • The office of URIDA will be established in the building of the Directorate of Local Bodies, Lucknow. A General Body and an Executive Committee under it have also been constituted to monitor the activities of CM Grids (Urban)
  • A General Body has been formed for the effective monitoring, assessment, and review of the CM Grids (Urban) scheme, along with the operational plans related to road development conducted by the Urban Development Department.
  • The general body will be chaired by the Chief Secretary, with the Additional Chief Secretary or Principal Secretary of the Urban Development Department serving as the vice-chairman.
  • The member secretary of the general body will keep the agency informed about the progress and implementation of plans related to urban road development and other relevant matters. Meetings of the assembly will be held every six months
  • The Executive Committee has been established to oversee planning, design, tendering, monitoring, and conservation, among other activities of the CM Grids (Urban) scheme.
  • The Executive Committee will consist of the Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary, Chairman of the Urban Development Department, and the Director of the Local Body Directorate.
  • Notably, this committee will manage all the activities of CM Grids (Urban). Additionally, the committee will evaluate and supervise all road construction plans conducted by the Urban Development Department.
  • It will also conduct online webinars and programs to build capacity and release standards and guidelines for road construction
